Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Borys Smolarek started the match with the kick off. Alfredo Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Smolarek in the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Borys Smolarek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfredo Couto. Borys Smolarek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Gwidon Iwanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Rapinantes F.C.'s Alfredo Couto got control of the ball when Golo Machinam tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marcel Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Westbam's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Diniz came free, but Gwidon Iwanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Westbam's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Carioca came free, but Gwidon Iwanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Pordea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredo Couto came out and tried to block the shot, but Damian Pordea slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 34th minute. Cléberson Alcântara had several of the Rapinantes F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Alfredo Couto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Golo Machinam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Alfredo Couto made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Rapinantes F.C.'s Válbson Alagoano got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gwidon Iwanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute, Golo Machinam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Rapinantes F.C.'s Alfredo Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Smolarek in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute Herbert Indyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Damian Pordea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Westbam booed when Rapinantes F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Golo Machinam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Couto. Rapinantes F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Golo Machinam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The Westbam fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Westbam's Golo Machinam looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Rapinantes F.C.'s Pedro Rossi got a free kick in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Indyk in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Furgat in the 89th minute of play. Alfredo Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Smolarek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
