After 11 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Fontenot. In the 13th minute, Donovan Heath made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Incendio. C.A BoQuiTa JrS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee gave Cosmos Soccer Club a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Federico Maia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.A BoQuiTa JrS's Samuel Incendio. 0-2. In the 21st minute, Rudolph Saunders got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 minutes of play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Rudolph Saunders made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Incendio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicky Cavazos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Incendio having to interfere. Rudolph Saunders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Samuel Incendio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicky Cavazos in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Incendio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Incendio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolph Saunders in the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A BoQuiTa JrS's zone, Donovan Heath stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Incendio came out of the goal and Donovan Heath tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicky Cavazos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Patrick Fontenot came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Cosmos Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Fontenot couldn't finish the play. Rudolph Saunders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Incendio having to interfere. Samuel Incendio made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Nicky Cavazos sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the game, Rudolph Saunders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosmos Soccer Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A BoQuiTa JrS the free kick. After 69 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Rudolph Saunders. Nicky Cavazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when C.A BoQuiTa JrS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to C.A BoQuiTa JrS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Emilio Montrel hit a great ball. Rudolph Saunders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Incendio having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Emilio Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on C.A BoQuiTa JrS's corner Segundo Aguirre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jarrett Rosenberg quite easily take care of the ball. If Nicky Cavazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 92 minutes, Donovan Heath mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosmos Soccer Club and the C.A BoQuiTa JrS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donovan Heath to maneuver through the defense. Jarrett Rosenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donovan Heath struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Samuel Incendio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosmos Soccer Club. When the match was over Cosmos Soccer Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A BoQuiTa JrS throughout the match.
