With an extended leg and a bit of luck Themos Batiropoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by GREEK ARMY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serafin James was slow to take the kick. During this time Berutti FC's players had a chance to rest. Everardo Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. GREEK ARMY's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Everardo Anaya scored to the left of an out of position Themos Batiropoulos, making the score, 1-0. Everardo Anaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Themos Batiropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Petros Rafailidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafin James recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Anaya came free, but Themos Batiropoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pedro Truylos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Themos Batiropoulos was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 31st minute Stamatis Zindros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Molodețiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alkaios Leontaras hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Markos Triantafyllou hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Anaya made a kick off. GREEK ARMY's Themos Batiropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Anaya in the 52nd minute of play. Everardo Anaya might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Themos Batiropoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everardo Anaya ran back to his position shaking his head. Markos Triantafyllou hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Themos Batiropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Anaya in the 58th minute of play. Themos Batiropoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Anaya's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. If Everardo Anaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Everardo Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themos Batiropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Berutti FC reached it. Themos Batiropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Anaya in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Everardo Anaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Everardo Anaya notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of GREEK ARMY's Themos Batiropoulos. Themos Batiropoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Everardo Anaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentinos Vrisimitzakis's late challenge caught a Berutti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentinos Vrisimitzakis helped the player get up and apologised. Valentinos Vrisimitzakis hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Berutti FC were the better team. Berutti FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
