Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wojciech Antoszewski started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Zindros. 7 minutes into the game, Stamatis Zindros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leon Bury. Stamatis Zindros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 13 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Christos Simos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Serwach in the 14th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Themos Batiropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GREEK ARMY's Themos Batiropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Antoszewski in the 27th minute of play. Manos Konstantakos's late challenge caught a Kyno Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manos Konstantakos helped the player get up and apologised. Manos Konstantakos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wojciech Antoszewski in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Themos Batiropoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Wojciech Antoszewski came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Kyno Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wojciech Antoszewski couldn't finish the play. The GREEK ARMY fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when GREEK ARMY's Stamatis Zindros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Roland Lichniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themos Batiropoulos having to interfere. Manos Konstantakos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stamatis Zindros made a kick off. After some careless play in the Kyno Team defense, Stamatis Zindros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Bury. The Kyno Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Bury should have stopped the shot. Valentinos Vrisimitzakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Bury having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Kyno Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigiusz Kasprzykowski to maneuver through the defense. When Kyno Team's Wojciech Antoszewski in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GREEK ARMY's goalie prevented a goal. Christos Simos hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Wladyslaw Serwach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute Stamatis Zindros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Bury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Stamatis Zindros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Bury was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Wojciech Antoszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Themos Batiropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kyno Team's Leon Bury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamatis Zindros in the 96th minute of play. Kyno Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
