The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, A.D Garotos do Vale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerson Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Gerson Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. A.D Garotos do Vale's Franklin Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Ritchie in the 11th minute of play. Franklin Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Ritchie in the 12th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, A.D Garotos do Vale's Clemente Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvano Ostadar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Silvano Ostadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 李剑响 in the 35th minute of the match. The A.D Garotos do Vale fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when A.D Garotos do Vale's Clemente Machado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Peio got free with Franklin Montenegro in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jesus Peio came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Itacaruaré FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Peio couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that 李剑响's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvano Ostadar was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Jesus Peio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin Montenegro was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. In the 97th minute, Itacaruaré FC's Artemio Sayveon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Artemio Sayveon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Itacaruaré FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Artemio Sayveon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Itacaruaré FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Artemio Sayveon hit a great ball. A.D Garotos do Vale's Juarês Novaes got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A.D Garotos do Vale's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
