In the 3rd minute Gabriel Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themos Batiropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themos Batiropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Themos Batiropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Ritchie in the 12th minute of play. Jesus Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Themos Batiropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Spyros Tsatsaronakis got a free kick in the 19th minute. Themos Batiropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Ritchie in the 25th minute of the match. Valentinos Vrisimitzakis kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Itacaruaré FC's Artemio Sayveon suffered a concussion in the 29th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. During the 29th minute of the match Spyros Tsatsaronakis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Spyros Tsatsaronakis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 30th match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spyros Tsatsaronakis to maneuver through the defense. Manos Konstantakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Gabriel Ritchie notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of GREEK ARMY's Themos Batiropoulos. Themos Batiropoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 41 minutes, Gabriel Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itacaruaré FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Ritchie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Valentinos Vrisimitzakis. Themos Batiropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

In the 54th minute of the match Claudio Santio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Themos Batiropoulos skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Ritchie in the 57th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Themos Batiropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manos Konstantakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Buinton kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Themos Batiropoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to GREEK ARMY getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Valentinos Vrisimitzakis hit a great ball. Gabriel Ritchie scored 3-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Themos Batiropoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Ritchie in the 81st minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Themos Batiropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Ritchie in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Themos Batiropoulos saved GREEK ARMY from getting behind. Alberto Ugutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Itacaruaré FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
