In the 12th match minute, Berutti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin James to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Akis Kousas in the 13th minute really tested Octav Molodețiu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Gabriel Pere fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berutti FC's protests and gave Gabriel Pere a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Berutti FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gabriel Pere hit a great ball. Everardo Anaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Themos Batiropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Anaya in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Themos Batiropoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Everardo Anaya made a precise shot to the right of Themos Batiropoulos. GREEK ARMY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Themos Batiropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin James in the 29th minute of play. Berutti FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serafin James in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Berutti FC got a corner. GREEK ARMY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafin James ran over to the corner to take the kick. Everardo Anaya walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Anaya in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Themos Batiropoulos saved GREEK ARMY from getting behind. When Berutti FC's Everardo Anaya in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GREEK ARMY's goalie prevented a goal. Themos Batiropoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Everardo Anaya went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Everardo Anaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Themos Batiropoulos having to make a save. After the first half Berutti FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Spyros Tsatsaronakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Zindros to maneuver through the defense. Stamatis Zindros kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Pedro Truylos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berutti FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Themos Batiropoulos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Everardo Anaya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 57 minute of play. Everardo Anaya who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Themos Batiropoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 63rd match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juraj Bartoš to maneuver through the defense. Themos Batiropoulos stood somewhat misplaced when Everardo Anaya came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 66 minute. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Petros Rafailidis got a free kick in the 70th minute. Everardo Anaya struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Themos Batiropoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berutti FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Anaya in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Themos Batiropoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Everardo Anaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Themos Batiropoulos was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Valentinos Vrisimitzakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Themos Batiropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88thth minute Serafin James beautifully dribbled past GREEK ARMY's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Themos Batiropoulos pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by GREEK ARMY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serafin James was slow to take the kick. During this time Berutti FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Berutti FC's Serafin James to fire away a dangerous shot which Themos Batiropoulos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Themos Batiropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Everardo Anaya came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Berutti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Anaya couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Berutti FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GREEK ARMY.
