Oliver Arrelucea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Corrêa in the 9th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romário Braga during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute of the match Segundo Udaeta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Paulo Fernandez skillfully saved the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Cepa came free, but Zé Paulo Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Segundo Udaeta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Paulo Fernandez skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Werneck FC - DMZ defense, Cristobal Cepa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Paulo Fernandez. The Werneck FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Paulo Fernandez should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Saverio Burcena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Paulo Fernandez. Werneck FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Burcena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half Hayalim Kedoshim were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caco Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Paulo Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when C.J. Stussy sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ostots Balaguer during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ostots Balaguer hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Caco Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Arrelucea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cordarrel Pereña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cordarrel Pereña struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Zé Paulo Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hayalim Kedoshim. C.J. Kaku hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Breno Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Arrelucea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Cordarrel Pereña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hayalim Kedoshim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Werneck FC - DMZ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hayalim Kedoshim's Cordarrel Pereña got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute, Oswaldo Garijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genílson Cardozo's late challenge caught a Hayalim Kedoshim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genílson Cardozo helped the player get up and apologised. Genílson Cardozo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Romário Braga got a free kick in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Hayalim Kedoshim getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Chico Pineros hit a great ball. The supporters of Werneck FC - DMZ booed when Hayalim Kedoshim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. C.J. Kaku didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hayalim Kedoshim supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hayalim Kedoshim would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
