Concetto Bani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Traini. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Zonta in the 10th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Concetto Bani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Calenzano defense, Caco Corrêa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Concetto Bani. The Calenzano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Concetto Bani should have stopped the shot. In the 26th match minute, Werneck FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Freitas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Edoardo Flocco got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Concetto Bani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Paulo Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Di Gennaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genílson Cardozo during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Genílson Cardozo got a free kick in the 44th minute. Zé Paulo Fernandez came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Calenzano's Edoardo Flocco. But to his dismay, Edoardo Flocco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

Breno Zonta's late challenge caught a Calenzano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breno Zonta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 50th minute, Breno Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 51st minute, Calenzano's Fortunato Pugliese ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Paulo Fernandez. Zé Paulo Fernandez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrico Di Gennaro got free with Zé Paulo Fernandez in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Calenzano getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Aldo Abete hit a great ball. After 62 minutes of play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Breno Zonta made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Concetto Bani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enrico Di Gennaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Zé Paulo Fernandez made a huge save. In the 68th match minute, Werneck FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Araújo to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd match minute, Calenzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Traini to maneuver through the defense. Caco Corrêa scored 3-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Concetto Bani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Virgílio Toledo got a free kick in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Di Gennaro came free, but Zé Paulo Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calenzano's Concetto Bani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Toledo in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Aldo Abete got a free kick in the 80th minute. Werneck FC - DMZ's Caco Corrêa got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96thth minute of the game Breno Zonta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calenzano's Concetto Bani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Calenzano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
