Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anthony Tonon started the match with the kick off. Anthony Tonon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Pirtsos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lipochσrion FC's Charis Zouboulakis got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th match minute, Lipochσrion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thodoris Pelekanos to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Anthony Tonon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lipochσrion FC's Dimitris Pirtsos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Aloisi in the 24th minute of play. Dimitris Pirtsos made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Achille Aloisi sent off a good shot on target. Dimitris Pirtsos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anthony Tonon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Dimitris Pirtsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Tonon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute of the match, Achille Di Cesare got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dimitris Pirtsos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The corner ended in Alberigo Lattanzio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lipochσrion FC's Dimitris Pirtsos did a great save. Achille Aloisi might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitris Pirtsos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Achille Aloisi ran back to his position shaking his head. If Achille Di Cesare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vassilis Kritikos lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lipochσrion FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Dimitris Pirtsos, was totally fooled by LEBEG Team's Alberigo Lattanzio, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogenis Kanelidis was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thodoris Pelekanos in the 54th minute of play forced LEBEG Team's goalkeeper Arrigo Talone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitris Pirtsos came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by LEBEG Team's Achille Di Cesare. But to his dismay, Achille Di Cesare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Alberto Cavanna might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitris Pirtsos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Cavanna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute Anthony Tonon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Pirtsos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LEBEG Team's Anthony Tonon got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille Di Cesare in the 74th minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Pirtsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitris Pirtsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Tonon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anthony Tonon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Anthony Tonon came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the LEBEG Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthony Tonon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Tonon in the 82nd minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Pirtsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulvio Colagrossi hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in LEBEG Team's zone, Diogenis Kanelidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arrigo Talone came out of the goal and Diogenis Kanelidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Achille Di Cesare notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Lipochσrion FC's Dimitris Pirtsos. Dimitris Pirtsos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Cavanna in the 94th minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Pirtsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stavros Chatzipetris during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LEBEG Team booed when Lipochσrion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stavros Chatzipetris didn't get a good kick on the ball. LEBEG Team walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
