Dimitris Pirtsos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calenzano. Calenzano's Enrico Di Gennaro got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Abete. Dimitris Pirtsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Traini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goalkeeper Concetto Bani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgos Aggelopoulos. After 19 minutes, Antonio Gizzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calenzano and the Lipochσrion FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lipochσrion FC booed when Calenzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Gizzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Abete. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogenis Kanelidis in the 23rd minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Concetto Bani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Edoardo Flocco made a precise shot to the right of Dimitris Pirtsos. Lipochσrion FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Enrico Di Gennaro scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitris Pirtsos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charis Zouboulakis in the 34th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Concetto Bani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calenzano's Concetto Bani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Calenzano from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the game, Giorgos Aggelopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Concetto Bani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Lipochσrion FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Calenzano were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrico Di Gennaro made a kick off. Concetto Bani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diogenis Kanelidis's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute, one of Lipochσrion FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lipochσrion FC. When Alvaro Aloisi fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calenzano's protests and gave Alvaro Aloisi a yellow card for diving instead. Alvaro Aloisi kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Diogenis Kanelidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charis Zouboulakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Concetto Bani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giorgos Aggelopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Enrico Di Gennaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Dimitris Pirtsos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lakis Kontosoros during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lakis Kontosoros kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Edoardo Flocco got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Nikitas Sifakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Concetto Bani. Calenzano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 98th minute Anfilogino Traini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Pirtsos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99th minute, Calenzano's Enrico Di Gennaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dimitris Pirtsos. Dimitris Pirtsos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Calenzano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
