An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Tuttle in the 15th minute of play forced Roman Tim Tfaruk's goalkeeper Mariusz Majkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute El Canalla de Chicago were awarded a corner. Tanner Waller went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 19th minute Kevin Roark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Majkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clark Lindsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Majkowski having to interfere. Kermit DeJesus scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariusz Majkowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariusz Majkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolph Thurman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Prusinowski hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Clark Lindsey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariusz Majkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. A collision led to Roman Tim Tfaruk getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Witold Knopek hit a great ball. The Roman Tim Tfaruk players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Canalla de Chicago were winning 0-4.

With a little luck, Roman Tim Tfaruk's Mariusz Majkowski got control of the ball when Rudolph Thurman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariusz Majkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Martin Tuttle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Canalla de Chicago fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After a rather tough play, El Canalla de Chicago's Giuseppe Gillis got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Mariusz Piechocki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roman Tim Tfaruk's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariusz Piechocki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
