Ciro Orlandi's late challenge caught a El Canalla de Chicago's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Orlandi helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in El Canalla de Chicago's zone, Ciro Orlandi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonah Peck came out of the goal and Ciro Orlandi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Buffone kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. El Canalla de Chicago's Tanner Waller was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anselmo Cirulli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kevin Roark came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anselmo Cirulli could save by the left post. Clark Lindsey in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anselmo Cirulli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tanner Waller might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Cirulli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tanner Waller ran back to his position shaking his head. El Canalla de Chicago's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tanner Waller in the 42nd minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Martin Tuttle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Tuttle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Canalla de Chicago's Jonah Peck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Buffone in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute Clark Lindsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Cirulli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Tanner Waller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Canalla de Chicago's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Roma the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Tanner Waller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonah Peck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Barresi in the 59th minute. With a left leg Anselmo Cirulli saved AC Roma from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's Clark Lindsey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Cirulli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Martin Tuttle fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Canalla de Chicago's protests and gave Martin Tuttle a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Tuttle kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. El Canalla de Chicago's Jonah Peck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Orlandi in the 72nd minute of play. Aurelio Barresi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Jonah Peck made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Martin Tuttle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Cirulli was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Anselmo Cirulli came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by El Canalla de Chicago's Rudolph Thurman. But to his dismay, Rudolph Thurman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 80th minute of the match, Aurelio Barresi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonah Peck was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kevin Roark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolph Thurman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Canalla de Chicago's Martin Tuttle got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Clark Lindsey came free, but Anselmo Cirulli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Clark Lindsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
