The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Altos Gatos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AC Roma:s goal. Rosendo Millan had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Demetrio Vespa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Altos Gatos FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Millan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Barresi. Rosendo Millan made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Aurelio Barresi sent off a good shot on target. Rosendo Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Buffone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Emilio Di Fazio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteve Gasteiz struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Anselmo Cirulli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altos Gatos FC. Cosme Pacorro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anselmo Cirulli having to make a save. Aurelio Barresi took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Millan. Rosendo Millan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Gasteiz came free, but Anselmo Cirulli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Alfonso Buffone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Beat took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Cirulli. Anselmo Cirulli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The supporters of Altos Gatos FC booed when AC Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Di Fazio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteve Gasteiz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anselmo Cirulli. AC Roma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rosendo Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Buffone in the 45th minute of the match. Alfonso Buffone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Teodoro Navarro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Buffone. Altos Gatos FC's Rosendo Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Di Fazio in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Teodosio Beat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altos Gatos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodosio Beat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Cirulli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Aurelio Barresi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Roma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Barresi in the 73rd minute of play forced Altos Gatos FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Cirulli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosme Pacorro went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Esteve Gasteiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altos Gatos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Gasteiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Buffone in the 84th minute of play forced Altos Gatos FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendo Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Buffone in the 90th minute of play. Cosme Pacorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Anselmo Cirulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AC Roma's zone, Teodosio Beat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Cirulli came out of the goal and Teodosio Beat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Altos Gatos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC Roma.
