With a little luck, October 04's Davi Couto got control of the ball when Clark Lindsey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonah Peck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Tião Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tião Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, October 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Amaral to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, October 04's goalkeeper Davi Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clark Lindsey. The supporters of October 04 booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Gillis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Andrézinho Mandrak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonah Peck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Rudolph Thurman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kermit DeJesus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Davi Couto made a huge save. Martin Tuttle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Davi Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Tuttle during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Martin Tuttle hit a great ball. Wesley Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonah Peck having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wesley Teles was the one to do the kick off. Davi Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clark Lindsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by October 04's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tanner Waller was slow to take the kick. During this time El Canalla de Chicago's players had a chance to rest. Martin Tuttle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davi Couto came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by El Canalla de Chicago's Clark Lindsey. But to his dismay, Clark Lindsey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Pedro Paulo Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wesley Teles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Jonah Peck made a huge save. In the 66th minute Clark Lindsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davi Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kermit DeJesus in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, October 04's Claudinho Antunes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonah Peck was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Lindsey in the 85th minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Davi Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Rudolph Thurman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davi Couto was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The El Canalla de Chicago fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when El Canalla de Chicago's Rudolph Thurman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 90 minutes into the game, Clark Lindsey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Davi Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95thth minute of the game Rudolph Thurman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but October 04's Davi Couto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that El Canalla de Chicago were the better team. El Canalla de Chicago's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
