The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabio Filipo was a little too slow when Marciano Lope got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Serafin Pirro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Filipo having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Flavio Vigil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mi querida Fabiola and the club atletico aldosivi players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Marciano Lope scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Filipo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Lino Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Atilano Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Filipo came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by club atletico aldosivi's Marciano Lope. But to his dismay, Marciano Lope quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 81st minute Jorge Montay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Filipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mi querida Fabiola's zone, Marciano Lope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Filipo came out of the goal and Marciano Lope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marciano Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Filipo having to interfere. If Marciano Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mi querida Fabiola booed when club atletico aldosivi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Gonzales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mi querida Fabiola's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
