Capivara FC's Célio Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Kismi in the 2nd minute of play. When Guaberto Santana came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the MDQ Raptors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Santana couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, MDQ Raptors FC's Guaberto Santana got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Aparecido in the 18th minute of play forced MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Albano Rameriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Rameriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Amauri Sampaio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of MDQ Raptors FC's Albano Rameriz. Célio Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorio Kismi went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Célio Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Santana in the 38th minute of play. If Guaberto Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Luis Benvide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glauco Aparecido made a kick off. Luciano Pereira's late challenge caught a MDQ Raptors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Capivara FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Luciano Pereira hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, MDQ Raptors FC's Victorio Kismi got a free kick in the 55th minute. Célio Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guaberto Santana went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Guaberto Santana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Célio Machado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Victorio Kismi fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MDQ Raptors FC's protests and gave Victorio Kismi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Victorio Kismi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Célio Machado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guaberto Santana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 88 minute of play. Guaberto Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Machado having to interfere. Albano Rameriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
