A collision led to FC Triesen getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Konrad Hemmerle hit a great ball. In the 5th match minute, FC Triesen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Bjorg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konrad Hemmerle got free with Sebastian Cross in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Ott didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrew Thomas went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Felix Ott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brad Symons in the 18th minute of the match. Lorenzo Guerreiro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Josy Rehak kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Sammy Le Tissier scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Ott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Andrew Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 30 in the game by Konrad Hemmerle from a close distance when the talented Sebastian Cross managed to make a qualified save. Clapham Comets F.C.'s players were relieved. After 30 minutes, Konrad Hemmerle made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Sebastian Cross tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Ott didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brad Symons went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, Brad Symons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. FC Triesen's Felix Ott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Le Tissier in the 44th minute of play. When Lorenzo Guerreiro fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Triesen's protests and gave Lorenzo Guerreiro a yellow card for diving instead. Lorenzo Guerreiro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Guerreiro in the 48th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Sebastian Cross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrew Thomas made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Olcay Maierhans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brad Symons was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 70th minute, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Brad Symons dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. In the 73rd minute, Brad Symons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lorenzo Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Cross having to interfere. 77 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Clapham Comets F.C.'s Andrew Thomas fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Felix Ott stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sammy Le Tissier's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. If Gerry Roebuck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Ott made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sammy Le Tissier in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute Andrew Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Clapham Comets F.C.'s Brad Symons looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Triesen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Brad Symons scored to the left of an out of position Felix Ott, making the score, 2-9. When the final whistle sounded Clapham Comets F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Triesen.
