Spectators: 7593 (Terracing: 5696, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viktoras Natsikas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Viktoras Natsikas took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Cross. Sebastian Cross dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 10 minutes, Zacharias Papagiannoulis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vakoufi Utd and the Clapham Comets F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Clapham Comets F.C. booed when Vakoufi Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacharias Papagiannoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Andrew Thomas came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Clapham Comets F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Thomas couldn't finish the play. Viktoras Natsikas took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Cross. Sebastian Cross dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Sebastian Cross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktoras Natsikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Sebastian Cross made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktoras Natsikas in the 25th minute of play. Vakoufi Utd's Trifon Iraklideas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Vakoufi Utd from getting a goal against them. When Gerry Roebuck fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clapham Comets F.C.'s protests and gave Gerry Roebuck a yellow card for diving instead. Gerry Roebuck hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Ouzounidis in the 31st minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Sebastian Cross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Vakoufi Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akis Nafpliotis to maneuver through the defense. Akis Nafpliotis hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Andrew Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clapham Comets F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrew Thomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37 minutes of play, Vakoufi Utd's Nektarios Korakakis made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Cross was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 41 played minutes, Vakoufi Utd's Christos Ouzounidis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastian Cross came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vakoufi Utd reached it. After 42 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mick Bartrup. Brad Symons who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Trifon Iraklideas when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The wind increased when Andrew Thomas made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Sebastian Cross got control of the ball when Viktoras Natsikas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Viktoras Natsikas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Cross. Clapham Comets F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viktoras Natsikas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Viktoras Natsikas scored 0-6 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Cross, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Cross made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Viktoras Natsikas sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brad Symons in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trifon Iraklideas saved Vakoufi Utd from getting behind. Trifon Iraklideas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brad Symons in the 66th minute of play. Trifon Iraklideas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nektarios Korakakis came free, but Sebastian Cross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Nektarios Korakakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vakoufi Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brad Symons in the 88th minute of play forced Vakoufi Utd's goalkeeper Trifon Iraklideas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, one of Vakoufi Utd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Clapham Comets F.C.. Andrew Thomas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Trifon Iraklideas. 1-7. Sebastian Cross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nektarios Korakakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Vakoufi Utd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vakoufi Utd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
