The Talleres de Escalada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niceto Gutxi should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, FC Triesen's Niceto Gutxi threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabian Dietsche, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Candido Savier kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Andy Bjorg charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andy Bjorg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes FC Triesen got a freekick which was hit by Andy Bjorg. Felix Ott came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres de Escalada's Andres Jusepe. But to his dismay, Andres Jusepe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 32 played minutes Talleres de Escalada got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Lauren. Niceto Gutxi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Dietsche in the 34th minute of the match. Felix Ott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Iratxo in the 37th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Dietsche to make the kick off. Talleres de Escalada's Niceto Gutxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Hemmerle in the 54th minute of play. If Lorenzo Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Raimundo Innocenzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Ott was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Anselmo Afonso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anselmo Afonso really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Talleres de Escalada's Niceto Gutxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enis Haas in the 63rd minute of play. Felix Ott was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulino Fernendo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 64 minute of play. Niceto Gutxi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Hemmerle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Ott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Talleres de Escalada's Hector Veronica got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Leandro Iratxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Felix Ott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Paublo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Niceto Gutxi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Hemmerle in the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Talleres de Escalada walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
