Andres Jusepe came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edmílson Britto could save by the left post. A collision led to Talleres de Escalada getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Raimundo Innocenzio hit a great ball. Cássio Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmílson Britto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Candido Savier in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Trindade Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Iratxo came free, but Edmílson Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neymar Junior during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Trindade Atlético Club got a freekick which was hit by Neymar Junior. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leandro Iratxo to strike the kick off in the second half. Andres Jusepe kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Edmílson Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Iratxo in the 53rd minute of the match. Osvaldo Paublo's late challenge caught a Trindade Atlético Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Paublo helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Nóbrega in the 64th minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Niceto Gutxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Edu Nóbrega recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Niceto Gutxi. Talleres de Escalada's Niceto Gutxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Nóbrega in the 75th minute of play. Edmílson Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Iratxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Leandro Iratxo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmílson Britto. Trindade Atlético Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Iratxo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Cássio Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Niceto Gutxi made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Candido Savier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Alex Santos put in a rough tackle. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Trindade Atlético Club! Edmílson Britto had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Anselmo Afonso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 2-2 came in the 91st minute when Anselmo Afonso all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Edmílson Britto. After 94 minutes, Candido Savier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talleres de Escalada and the Trindade Atlético Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Talleres de Escalada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Savier to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmílson Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Talleres de Escalada succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Trindade Atlético Club had controlled the match.
