Reynaldo Jenaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernesto Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Favila in the 9th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Cambotinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Toledo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Natanael in the 21st minute of play forced Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Ernesto Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AQUILES booed when Cambotinha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiori Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Natanael kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Luizinho de Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Jenaro was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Prospero Eguntsenti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 43 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Lon came free, but Ernesto Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Alvarenga to strike the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Jenaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Favila came free, but Ernesto Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, AQUILES's Ernesto Montenegro threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laureano Natanael, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st minute, Antônio Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Laureano Natanael reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ernesto Montenegro. The goal made the score 1-2. The Cambotinha EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AQUILES's performance. The match ended with a win for AQUILES.
