Victoriano Fernado scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Jenaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Fernan Rios got a free kick in the 19th minute. Reynaldo Jenaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Fernado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Eguntsenti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Nemesio Leheren made a huge save. When Isidro Lon came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the AQUILES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Lon couldn't finish the play. After 30 minutes, Faustino Ospin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AQUILES and the CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AQUILES getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Faustino Ospin hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, AQUILES's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Barbosa came free, but Reynaldo Jenaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AQUILES's Reynaldo Jenaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Barbosa in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of AQUILES booed when CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Urtzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Victoriano Fernado made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, AQUILES's Juan Favila made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Leheren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nemesio Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Favila, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of AQUILES booed when CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Prospero Eguntsenti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nemesio Leheren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Eguntsenti in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Leheren saved CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 from getting behind. Nemesio Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With his leg Reynaldo Jenaro managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Fernan Rios fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 79th match minute, AQUILES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Shantala to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in AQUILES's zone, Evelio Urtzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Jenaro came out of the goal and Evelio Urtzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evelio Urtzi's late challenge caught a AQUILES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Urtzi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Evelio Urtzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Natanael in the 83rd minute of play. Laureano Natanael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Higinio Shantala suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of AQUILES booed when CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Fernado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Victoriano Fernado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Jenaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
