Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robert Hammond took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Hammond came free, but Severiano Mikeldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruninho Falcão took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severiano Mikeldi. Severiano Mikeldi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 9 played minutes Garlic Eaters got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Winterbottom. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Falcão in the 13th minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Severiano Mikeldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severiano Mikeldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Tuck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severiano Mikeldi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Hammond went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the game, Garlic Eaters's James Tuck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Mikeldi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. James Tuck struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Severiano Mikeldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garlic Eaters. 30 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Presebal came free, but Gul Keep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruninho Falcão scored 1-5 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severiano Mikeldi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robert Hammond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. James Tuck scored 1-6 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severiano Mikeldi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Falcão came free, but Severiano Mikeldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stuart Winterbottom made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Argentinos Juniors's Fabian Teofilio. Luciano Presebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Presebal made a kick off. Argentinos Juniors's Severiano Mikeldi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Argentinos Juniors from getting a goal against them. Donato Ignazio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gez Barber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garlic Eaters's supporters rose to their feet, but Gez Barber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Mikeldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severiano Mikeldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Tuck, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes Argentinos Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Itzaina. With a little luck, Argentinos Juniors's Severiano Mikeldi got control of the ball when Robert Hammond tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Cliff Gurney recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severiano Mikeldi. Cliff Gurney showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. Severiano Mikeldi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from James Tuck went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the game, Fabian Teofilio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Argentinos Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garlic Eaters the free kick. In the 71st minute, Fabian Teofilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garlic Eaters's Gez Barber shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Severiano Mikeldi but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Presebal in the 73rd minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Gul Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severiano Mikeldi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but James Tuck showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 75 minute of play. Severiano Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Hammond in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Garlic Eaters's Bruninho Falcão ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Severiano Mikeldi. Severiano Mikeldi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-11. Severiano Mikeldi came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Garlic Eaters's Bruninho Falcão. But to his dismay, Bruninho Falcão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-12. In the 96th minute, Robert Hammond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Argentinos Juniors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Garlic Eaters were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
