Valther Fønsskov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armen Werthein having to make a save. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Janko Kaplan sped through Sletteenge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thorkild Plougmann. In the 19th minute Ben-Ami Amran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorkild Plougmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thorkild Plougmann didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when G.R.'s Ben-Ami Amran shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janko Kaplan in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thorkild Plougmann saved Sletteenge from getting behind. Armen Werthein made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Absalon Domini sent off a good shot on target. Gibor Shechter succeeded in the game's 30th minute to get real power on a long shot . Sletteenge's Thorkild Plougmann hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-3! In the 32nd minute, Janko Kaplan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thorkild Plougmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Tøger Sporring's late challenge caught a G.R.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tøger Sporring helped the player get up and apologised. Absalon Domini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Armen Werthein made a huge save. G.R.'s Armen Werthein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save G.R. from getting a goal against them. Tøger Sporring lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 43rd minute, one of Sletteenge:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sletteenge. Sletteenge:s Thorkild Plougmann showed great skill when he stopped Janko Kaplan:s penalty. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Askild Farquhar made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Absalon Domini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gibor Shechter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thorkild Plougmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59th match minute, G.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janko Kaplan to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gibor Shechter during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Gibor Shechter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armen Werthein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Askild Farquhar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by G.R.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustav Balkov was slow to take the kick. During this time Sletteenge's players had a chance to rest. Sletteenge's Gustav Balkov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Armen Werthein in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thorkild Plougmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janko Kaplan in the 79th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Augustus Hedstrøm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sletteenge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustus Hedstrøm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thorkild Plougmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janko Kaplan in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zahavi Drucker got free with Thorkild Plougmann in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thorkild Plougmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janko Kaplan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Jett Sonnenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. G.R.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sletteenge the free kick. Askild Farquhar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thorkild Plougmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janko Kaplan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zahavi Drucker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thorkild Plougmann having to interfere. The Sletteenge supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching G.R.'s performance. The match ended with a win for G.R..
