The supporters of Yalapa booed when G.R. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben-Ami Amran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Janko Kaplan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Elija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over G.R. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yalapa throughout the match.
