The audience thought a goal was coming when Dino Reis got free with Tiberiu Mischie in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruhi Revan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Josan in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, ★ŞaNLı uRFa BiReCiK SPoR★'s Ciro Immobile dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With an all-out effort, ★ŞaNLı uRFa BiReCiK SPoR★'s Tiberiu Mischie threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Faruk Algın, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Emanuel Strugure fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Politehnica Timisoara's protests and gave Emanuel Strugure a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes FC Politehnica Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Strugure. 45 minutes into the game, Marty Fearns was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ★ŞaNLı uRFa BiReCiK SPoR★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Politehnica Timisoara the free kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Costică Josan to strike the kick off in the second half. Dino Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Mischie having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Costică Josan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Politehnica Timisoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Costică Josan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruhi Revan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiberiu Mischie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Reis in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Costică Josan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruhi Revan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Costică Josan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruhi Revan was relentless in the 89th minute of the game.
