Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Ludomir Lisewski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ziemowit Brzonkala kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When Green Squad FC's Luís Gustavo de Salles in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joga Bonito's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Joga Bonito getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Teofil Zyskowski hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's Luís Gustavo de Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radomir Japola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute Ludomir Lisewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Olavo Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Squad FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Olavo Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Japola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Zbyszko Dula fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joga Bonito's protests and gave Zbyszko Dula a yellow card for diving instead. Green Squad FC's Olavo Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Gustavo de Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radomir Japola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Gustavo de Salles went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute, Jorge Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Gustavo de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Japola having to interfere. Radomir Japola came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Squad FC's Eliseu Guerra. But to his dismay, Eliseu Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Gustavo de Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugo Diniz was a little too slow when Ludomir Lisewski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Ludomir Lisewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Hugo Diniz made a huge save. Wladyslaw Teofila was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Joga Bonito! Radomir Japola had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Danilo Loyola's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Radomir Japola came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Green Squad FC's Danilo Loyola. But to his dismay, Danilo Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Green Squad FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Zbyszko Dula scored to the left of an out of position Hugo Diniz, making the score, 3-2. Hugo Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Dula in the 82nd minute of play. Green Squad FC's Hugo Diniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Green Squad FC from getting a goal against them. Tarcisio Velloso's late challenge caught a Joga Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tarcisio Velloso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Tarcisio Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Green Squad FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
