Thorkild Plougmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Udup's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Sletteenge's goalkeeper Thorkild Plougmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Strugure. Thorkild Plougmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Udup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Politehnica Timisoara's zone, Absalon Domini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiberiu Mischie came out of the goal and Absalon Domini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiberiu Mischie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Absalon Domini in the 11th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Absalon Domini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiberiu Mischie was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Sletteenge's Thorkild Plougmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Udup in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Askild Farquhar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sletteenge and the FC Politehnica Timisoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. 32 minutes into the match, Sletteenge's goalkeeper Thorkild Plougmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Udup. The FC Politehnica Timisoara fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when FC Politehnica Timisoara's Eric Udup looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Udup in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thorkild Plougmann saved Sletteenge from getting behind. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Politehnica Timisoara from getting a goal against them. Tiberiu Mischie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Absalon Domini in the 75th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Romeo Chiriac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Politehnica Timisoara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sletteenge the free kick. Romeo Chiriac hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Michel Helbro took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Tiberiu Mischie to make any attempt to save it. Sletteenge's Håkon Eding was substituted for Michel Helbro. Absalon Domini's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tiberiu Mischie firmly grabbed it by the left post. Absalon Domini was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tøger Sporring's late challenge caught a FC Politehnica Timisoara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tøger Sporring helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sletteenge's Tøger Sporring got a free kick in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sletteenge players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Politehnica Timisoara.
