Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Dula in the 6th minute of play. Marcelo Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Dula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 19 in the game by Rony Meira from a close distance when the talented Radomir Japola managed to make a qualified save. Joga Bonito's players were relieved. Mayhem Sharks's attentive Fred Cruz managed to snatch the ball when Wieslaw Szarmach made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. Zbyszko Dula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Alves having to interfere. Radomir Japola made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Rony Meira sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito's Teofil Zyskowski got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of Joga Bonito booed when Mayhem Sharks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mayhem Sharks getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Adilson Perez hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Edgard Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Zbyszko Dula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Alves. Mayhem Sharks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zbyszko Dula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomir Lisewski in the 42nd minute of play. Marcelo Alves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zbyszko Dula went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito's Wieslaw Szarmach got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ludomir Lisewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ludomir Lisewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mayhem Sharks's Rony Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves got control of the ball when Sylwester Andrychowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Douglas Trigo in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Joga Bonito's Sylwester Andrychowski. In the 67th match minute, Joga Bonito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Szarmach to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Edgard Neto's late challenge caught a Joga Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Neto helped the player get up and apologised.
