The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when Sletteenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Helbro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 minutes of play, Sletteenge's Askild Farquhar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Diniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Luís Gustavo de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Squad FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Gustavo de Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thorkild Plougmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thorkild Plougmann made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Luís Gustavo de Salles sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th match minute, Green Squad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Helbro in the 31st minute of the match. Hugo Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Absalon Domini, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Green Squad FC's zone, Michel Helbro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Diniz came out of the goal and Michel Helbro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Gustavo de Salles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Thorkild Plougmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tarcisio Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thorkild Plougmann having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Gustavo de Salles was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Absalon Domini made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Diniz. Green Squad FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Green Squad FC's zone, Valther Fønsskov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Diniz came out of the goal and Valther Fønsskov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eliseu Guerra hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Hugo Diniz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Absalon Domini. With a little luck, Green Squad FC's Hugo Diniz got control of the ball when Absalon Domini tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Absalon Domini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sletteenge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Absalon Domini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valther Fønsskov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Hugo Diniz made a huge save. In the 70th minute Sletteenge were awarded a corner. Valther Fønsskov went to the cornerflag to take it. Valther Fønsskov made a great header on Sletteenge's corner, it was just that Green Squad FC's Hugo Diniz managed to reach the ball for a save. Tarcisio Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tarcisio Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Green Squad FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Diniz should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute, Eliseu Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 minutes, Lúcio da Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Squad FC and the Sletteenge players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Luís Gustavo de Salles came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Green Squad FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Gustavo de Salles couldn't finish the play. Luís Gustavo de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
