After some careless play in the Aspabruk defense, Hakem Al Attar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasper Helström. The Aspabruk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasper Helström should have stopped the shot. Aspabruk's Kasper Helström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qutaiba Al Ateqi in the 17th minute of play. José Alberto Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Wickander in the 19th minute of the match. Khalefa Al Hadad kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Aspabruk got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Fernkvist. After 27 played minutes, Golden Tigers's Hakem Al Attar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kasper Helström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Golden Tigers reached it. In the 37thth minute of the game Sayer Al Besher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aspabruk's Kasper Helström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 minutes of play, Golden Tigers's Abdul Aziz Al Holey made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kasper Helström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Golden Tigers's zone, Ove Wickander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Alberto Chilavert came out of the goal and Ove Wickander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kasper Helström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sayer Al Besher in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sayer Al Besher to strike the kick off in the second half. Ove Wickander hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Kasper Helström made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Hakem Al Attar sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, Aspabruk's goalkeeper Kasper Helström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qutaiba Al Ateqi. In the 65th minute Qutaiba Al Ateqi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasper Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfons Hedling hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Karl-Oskar Hökqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Golden Tigers's Hakem Al Attar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Kasper Helström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Al Towatan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Qutaiba Al Ateqi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Tigers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After 87 minutes of play, Golden Tigers's Qutaiba Al Ateqi made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kasper Helström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kasper Helström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sayer Al Besher in the 93rd minute of the match.
