After a defensive mix-up in Simoneta FC's zone, Emiliano Anaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredão Freitas came out of the goal and Emiliano Anaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Emiliano Anaya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simoneta FC's Alfredão Freitas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Manuel Ovando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sílvio Luiz Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Miliano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Manuel Ovando fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Simoneta FC's protests and gave Manuel Ovando a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Simoneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Ovando. If Adrian Miliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute Emiliano Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simoneta FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
