The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Miliano was the one to do the kick off. Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Ovando, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Alfredão Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes, Simoneta FC's Manuel Ovando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Goiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Simoneta FC reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Anaya got free with Alfredão Freitas in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Real Madrid de Guatemala getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Angel Salazar hit a great ball. Alfredão Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Anaya in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute of the match, Emiliano Anaya got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfredão Freitas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Ovando in the 72nd minute of play forced Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
