In the 3rd minute of the match Mauro Sosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Şoiman skillfully saved the ball. Angel Salazar might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damian Şoiman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Salazar ran back to his position shaking his head. Damian Şoiman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Anaya in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Shawn Carrillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Strugure in the 12th minute of play forced Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Amaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Damian Şoiman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Şoiman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Anaya in the 16th minute of the match. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Nicolás Flamenco got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sílvio Luiz Goiano was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Ernest Strugure capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernest Strugure really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ismael Amaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Şoiman having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugur Milcu got free with Sílvio Luiz Goiano in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Emiliano Anaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Madrid de Guatemala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, TAXI-MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Anaya came free, but Damian Şoiman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Emiliano Anaya sped through TAXI-MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damian Şoiman. Damian Şoiman came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid de Guatemala's Emiliano Anaya. But to his dismay, Emiliano Anaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Sosa during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mauro Sosa hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Damian Şoiman threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ismael Amaya, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Emiliano Anaya was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Angel Salazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Şoiman having to interfere. Nicolás Flamenco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emiliano Anaya might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damian Şoiman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Anaya ran back to his position shaking his head. Ismael Amaya hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Anaya in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Şoiman saved TAXI-MM- from getting behind. The supporters of TAXI-MM- booed when Real Madrid de Guatemala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shawn Carrillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes, Mugur Milcu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TAXI-MM- and the Real Madrid de Guatemala players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Real Madrid de Guatemala booed when TAXI-MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Omescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Angel Salazar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for TAXI-MM-. In the 89th match minute, TAXI-MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Neguțu to maneuver through the defense. Nae Neguțu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Real Madrid de Guatemala's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
