The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Marcos Guilisasti came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the TurboUC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Guilisasti couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Xabel Vallejo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krama Bollen was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 15 minutes, Aílton Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xandeco FC and the TurboUC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Xandeco FC booed when TurboUC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Dechent didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Melik Settar came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Xandeco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melik Settar couldn't finish the play. Krama Bollen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xabel Vallejo in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, TurboUC's Zenaido Davison got a free kick in the 21st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Marino Brunet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Melik Settar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30thth minute of the game Xabel Vallejo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xandeco FC's Krama Bollen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, TurboUC's Marino Brunet got control of the ball when Melik Settar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xabel Vallejo might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krama Bollen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xabel Vallejo ran back to his position shaking his head. Xabel Vallejo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Krama Bollen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TurboUC. In the 43rd minute, Jorge Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute of the match Bernardino Larraín sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Krama Bollen skillfully saved the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melik Settar to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Marcos Guilisasti managed to get in a good position for a shot. TurboUC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Guilisasti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 60thth minute of the game Xabel Vallejo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xandeco FC's Krama Bollen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeremias Luzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marino Brunet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, TurboUC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenaido Davison to maneuver through the defense. Krama Bollen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xabel Vallejo's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. The supporters of Xandeco FC booed when TurboUC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alifonso Jina didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jeremias Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Melik Settar came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Xandeco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melik Settar couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Jorge Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xandeco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TurboUC the free kick.
