When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Daniel Elizondo sped through Nautilus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gil de Medeiros. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Daniel Elizondo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gil de Medeiros. Cordero Dulanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Ferreira in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Nautilus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Neiva to maneuver through the defense. León Buisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil de Medeiros having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Estevez Tobia managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Ferreira made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Elizondo in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil de Medeiros saved Nautilus from getting behind. Xoan Austria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil de Medeiros having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Elizondo in the 55th minute of play forced Nautilus's goalkeeper Gil de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. León Buisan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Nautilus defense, León Buisan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil de Medeiros. The Nautilus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Daniel Elizondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gil de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gil de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xoan Austria, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Gil de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Elizondo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Nautilus's Dudu Neiva got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, João de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xoan Golpe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Daniel Elizondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xoan Austria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil de Medeiros having to interfere. Marlon Alamos hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Nautilus's Richard Ferreira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho de Andrade in the 93rd minute of play forced CD Suscal's goalkeeper Cordero Dulanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Ferreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Cordero Dulanto made a huge save. CD Suscal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
