Octavian Chivu hit a great ball. Jonathan Eli struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Atlanta. Arnoldo Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Papadima in the 7th minute of play. Arnoldo Kismi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tudor Bodea's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Unicorns ™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aurel Huștiu in the 10th minute. A collision led to Unicorns ™ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Iacob Surdu hit a great ball. Cleto Ferran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Corneliu Vulpăşin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Iacob Surdu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unicorns ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Iacob Surdu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Kismi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Calistrat Mihalcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin got control of the ball when Jonathan Eli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tudor Bodea in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Kismi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudor Bodea in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Kismi saved C. A. Atlanta from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petrică Ţirpescu in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Kismi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnoldo Kismi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Bodea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37thth minute of the game Rareș Papadima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Iker Dolfos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Dolfos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Bodea came free, but Arnoldo Kismi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Besart Toto. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Ferran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Bodea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. C. A. Atlanta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Rareș Papadima scored to the left of an out of position Arnoldo Kismi, making the score, 0-1. In the 56th minute, Rareș Papadima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoldo Kismi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Dolfos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi got control of the ball when Rareș Papadima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tudor Bodeas short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Arnoldo Kismi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnoldo Kismi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 76 minutes into the game, Jonathan Eli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Corneliu Vulpăşin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cleto Ferran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Arnoldo Kismi managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Unicorns ™'s Tudor Bodea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Eli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Corneliu Vulpăşin was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Ferran in the 88th minute of the match. Arnoldo Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Papadima in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, C. A.
