An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Dunn in the 2nd minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seb Osbourne hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Gone With the Win's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Boc came free, but Ed Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petrică Ţirpescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed Ingram having to interfere. The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when Gone With the Win was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Mulford didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seb Osbourne hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ed Ingram showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Boc in the 14th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Seb Osbourne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Rio Dunn sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Unicorns ™'s zone, Jermaine Wroe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corneliu Vulpăşin came out of the goal and Jermaine Wroe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Calistrat Mihalcea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unicorns ™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jermaine Wroe, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Rio Dunn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Corneliu Vulpăşin, 1-1. 34 minutes into the game, Jimmy Mulford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gone With the Win's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unicorns ™ the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Gone With the Win was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Mulford to maneuver through the defense. When Mugur Siniştean fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unicorns ™'s protests and gave Mugur Siniştean a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Gone With the Win defense, Codrin Boc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ed Ingram. The Gone With the Win fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ed Ingram should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute Codrin Boc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Ingram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
In the 50th minute, Jermaine Wroe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 played minutes Gone With the Win got a freekick which was hit by Rio Dunn. A hard shot by Calistrat Mihalcea from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Ed Ingram's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Seb Osbourne's late challenge caught a Unicorns ™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seb Osbourne helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Seb Osbourne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Merris lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Unicorns ™. Aurel Huștiu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ed Ingram. 1-3. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jermaine Wroe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 77th minute of the match Mugur Siniştean completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mugur Siniştean a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 78th match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Siniştean to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes, Gone With the Win's Ollie Kennedy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gone With the Win reached it. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jermaine Wroe, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seb Osbourne in the 86th minute of play. If Jermaine Wroe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gone With the Win supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Unicorns ™'s performance. The match ended with a win for Unicorns ™.
