The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when Gone With the Win was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugh Wilkinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 8th minute of the game was made by Iustinian Petre with Petrică Ţirpescu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Iustinian Petre got a throw-in 9 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tudor Bodea. A collision led to Gone With the Win getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seb Osbourne in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Rareș Papadima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute of the match, Rareș Papadima tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ed Ingram saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jermaine Wroe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Gone With the Win's Ed Ingram got control of the ball when Tudor Bodea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rareș Papadima scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ed Ingram, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute Seb Osbourne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gone With the Win's Tommy Merris got a free kick in the 38th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Seb Osbourne reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Corneliu Vulpăşin. The goal made the score 2-1. Gone With the Win's Ed Ingram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Papadima in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Seb Osbourne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gone With the Win's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seb Osbourne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jermaine Wroe, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Seb Osbourne sent off a good shot on target. Ed Ingram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Papadima in the 69th minute of play. Iustinian Petre got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Petrică Ţirpescu. Jermaine Wroe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurel Huștiu hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seb Osbourne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rareș Papadima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ed Ingram tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Unicorns ™ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
