Moises Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Botvidsson having to interfere. When Gustavo Goito fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Franja Dorada's protests and gave Gustavo Goito a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Franja Dorada got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Goito. Venancio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Vallman in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, IFK Kik's Håkan Botvidsson got control of the ball when Alfonso Palban tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cosme Tanio hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Överman in the 14th minute of play. Håkan Botvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Cordeal in the 18th minute of the match. Gustavo Goito kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Cosme Tanio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Svartengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Palban hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Palban got free with Håkan Botvidsson in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Franja Dorada getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Isidro Cordeal hit a great ball. Alf Svartengren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Venancio Hodei. Franja Dorada's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Ludwig Överman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei. Venancio Hodei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixten Lund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Franja Dorada booed when IFK Kik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the IFK Kik defense, Alfonso Palban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Håkan Botvidsson. The IFK Kik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Håkan Botvidsson should have stopped the shot. Ludwig Överman's late challenge caught a Franja Dorada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludwig Överman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Ludwig Överman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Kik's zone, Alfonso Palban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Botvidsson came out of the goal and Alfonso Palban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute Fritz Ugla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Milio's late challenge caught a IFK Kik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natalio Milio helped the player get up and apologised. Natalio Milio hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, IFK Kik's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Palban came free, but Håkan Botvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IFK Kik's Håkan Botvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Palban in the 72nd minute of play. When Franja Dorada's Gustavo Goito in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ludwig Överman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Venancio Hodei firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gustavo Goito scored 2-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Håkan Botvidsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. IFK Kik's Håkan Botvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Palban in the 96th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Franja Dorada were victorious despite being under pressure from IFK Kik for much of the match.
