Spectators: 7448 (Terracing: 5587, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gabor Helfenstein kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Chancy Olympique's Remo Steingher got control of the ball when Zé Lendaa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Chancy Olympique getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Claude Zurbuchen hit a great ball. Oséias de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Remo Steingher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delfim Figueiredo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Remo Steingher came out and tried to block the shot, but Delfim Figueiredo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Wanderson dos Santos scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remo Steingher, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Mukifus FSCMZ's Baltazar Lendaa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Baltazar Lendaa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mukifus FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baltazar Lendaa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Chancy Olympique booed when Mukifus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Lendaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oséias de Castro got in the 40th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Remo Steingher handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wanderson dos Santos got free with Remo Steingher in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remo Steingher came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Mukifus FSCMZ's Oséias de Castro. But to his dismay, Oséias de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Oséias de Castro made the kick off in the second half. Remo Steingher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chancy Olympique's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wanderson dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 63 minutes into the match, Mukifus FSCMZ's Oséias de Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remo Steingher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Mukifus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Lendaa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mukifus FSCMZ's Marcos Saraiva got control of the ball when Claude Zurbuchen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Chancy Olympique's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias de Castro came free, but Remo Steingher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wanderson dos Santos took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remo Steingher. Remo Steingher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Remo Steingher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Oséias de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, João Lendaa made a precise shot to the right of Remo Steingher. Chancy Olympique's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 92nd minute, Wanderson dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remo Steingher was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mukifus FSCMZ had won after a very even match.
