Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gino de Lima kicked off to start the match. Severino Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino de Lima in the 3rd minute of play. Dráusio Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Gabon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Israel Odilon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Ellande made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Izaltina FAD's Cristóvão Paranaense. The audience was convinced that Teodosio Stanislao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dráusio Oliveira was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Ricardinho Arantes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Teodosio Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes, Israel Odilon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palermo AFC and the Izaltina FAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Izaltina FAD booed when Palermo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Odilon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gino de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Severino Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Paranaense got free with Severino Barros in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Izaltina FAD's Cristóvão Paranaense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Severino Barros made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Gino de Lima sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Gabon in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráusio Oliveira saved Izaltina FAD from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Israel Odilon was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gino de Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 52 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Dráusio Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Gabon. Ronaldão Baiano's late challenge caught a Palermo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldão Baiano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. Ricardo Pires replaced Cristóvão Paranaense. After 56 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Baiano. In the 57th minute, Teodosio Stanislao sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira didn't even have to move. Gino de Lima took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Barros. Severino Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 70 played minutes Palermo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Frascuelo. In the 72nd match minute, Palermo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gino de Lima in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Barros saved Palermo AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino de Lima in the 77th minute of play forced Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Severino Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Dráusio Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Gabon. Palermo AFC's Severino Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Donato in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Palermo AFC's Octavio Frascuelo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dráusio Oliveira. Dráusio Oliveira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. When Teodosio Stanislao fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo AFC's protests and gave Teodosio Stanislao a yellow card for diving instead. If Ricardo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
