Paso FC's Teta Grande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietari Jaakkola in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Kultapossukerho's Sulo Lahtela got control of the ball when Donato Bladi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sulo Lahtela was a little too slow when Marcelo Tajo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 21st minute, Pietari Jaakkola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Tajo to make the kick off.
