In the 3rd match minute, Sconvols United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Cassone to maneuver through the defense. Remo Steingher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Tarantini in the 9th minute of the match. Sconvols United's attentive Ciccio Stella managed to snatch the ball when Clement Schwartz made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Remo Steingher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francesco Di Sante's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Francesco Di Sante might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remo Steingher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francesco Di Sante ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes in the game Clement Schwartz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zelimir Marty. Ennio Puce kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Sconvols United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carter Anelli to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zelimir Marty in the 26th minute of play forced Sconvols United's goalkeeper Alfredo Scafati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chancy Olympique's Gabor Helfenstein got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Tarantini in the 30th minute of play forced Chancy Olympique's goalkeeper Remo Steingher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Scafati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabor Helfenstein in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Sconvols United's goal looked a bit too open when Gabor Helfenstein came free, but Alfredo Scafati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sconvols United's Biagio Tarantini got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Chancy Olympique defense, Francesco Di Sante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remo Steingher. The Chancy Olympique fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remo Steingher should have stopped the shot. Remo Steingher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francesco Di Sante went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Francesco Di Sante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Tarantini in the 58th minute of play forced Chancy Olympique's goalkeeper Remo Steingher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sconvols United's Francesco Di Sante got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Chancy Olympique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lienhard DeGrasse to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sconvols United getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ciccio Stella hit a great ball. Claude Zurbuchen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Alfredo Scafati made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sconvols United's Ennio Cassone got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Chancy Olympique's Miguel Betz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredo Scafati. Alfredo Scafati yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Remo Steingher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francesco Di Sante went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Remo Steingher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Biagio Tarantini's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Biagio Tarantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sconvols United fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Sconvols United's Biagio Tarantini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sconvols United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
