In the 5th minute, Vinicio Acuña made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Scafati. Sconvols United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tiburcio Basajaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Scafati having to interfere. Francesco Di Sante's late challenge caught a Club Sportivo Quilmes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francesco Di Sante helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute Horacio Nisio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Scafati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Iratzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Tarantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Scafati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Nisio in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Di Sante got free with Uriel Iratzeder in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 26 minutes, Cesare De Lorenzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sconvols United and the Club Sportivo Quilmes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Sconvols United got a freekick which was hit by Cesare De Lorenzi. Tomás Ermano didn't quite understand what happened when in the 28 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Biagio Tarantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Ulises Fidele put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alfredo Scafati.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Nisio made a kick off. Club Sportivo Quilmes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sconvols United the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Valente in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Scafati saved Sconvols United from getting behind. In the 58th minute Vinicio Acuña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Scafati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Club Sportivo Quilmes got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Fidele. Ennio Cassone hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sconvols United's Francesco Di Sante got a free kick in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Sconvols United's goalkeeper Alfredo Scafati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Nisio. Sconvols United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emanuel Valente 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Horacio Nisios short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Alfredo Scafati to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Francesco Bevilacqua hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Horacio Nisio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredo Scafati came out and tried to block the shot, but Horacio Nisio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 89th minute. Club Sportivo Quilmes played a much better game than Sconvols United and deserved their victory. The Sconvols United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
