The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomasz Fujara charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomasz Fujara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 minutes Curumalán AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Przybyciel who took care of the corner kick. Galaxy Team U18's Lucjan Gierlach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Galaxy Team U18 from getting a goal against them. Lucjan Gierlach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Estefan in the 22nd minute. 22 minutes into the game, Fryderyk Wolicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galaxy Team U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curumalán AFC the free kick. Lucjan Gierlach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Estefan in the 24th minute. In the 24th minute of the match, Ariel Estefan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucjan Gierlach was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Geronimo Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Lichucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Wasyl Dubiel kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Galaxy Team U18 got a freekick which was hit by Fryderyk Wolicki. A collision led to Galaxy Team U18 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Tomasz Fujara hit a great ball. Lucjan Gierlach was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aquilino Herena. In the 42nd minute of the match Juan Bermudez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucjan Gierlach showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. During the 45th minute of the match Tomasz Fujara completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tomasz Fujara a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Team U18's Tomasz Fujara got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Malewicki to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Bermudez tried in the 51st minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Geronimo Gabrio a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-1. In the 54th minute, Curumalán AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kazimierz Lichucki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 59th minute, Wasyl Dubiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st match minute, Galaxy Team U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Konopka to maneuver through the defense. Lucjan Gierlach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Chorche in the 62nd minute of play. Kazimierz Lichucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Geronimo Gabrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Quinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Gabrio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kazimierz Lichucki's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After 72 minutes, Hernán Losada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curumalán AFC and the Galaxy Team U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Galaxy Team U18 booed when Curumalán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernán Losada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Kazimierz Lichucki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curumalán AFC's Geronimo Gabrio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Curumalán AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Juan Bermudez hit a great ball. Robert Przybyciel missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 83 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Geronimo Gabrio right hand side. The supporters of Curumalán AFC booed when Galaxy Team U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasyl Dubiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Galaxy Team U18's zone, Diego Chorche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Gierlach came out of the goal and Diego Chorche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Galaxy Team U18 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
