Luiz Guilherme Cosme started the match with the kick off. The supporters of 20 DE SETEMBRO booed when Galaxy Team U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Siedlecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucjan Gierlach made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Mário Alvarenga sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Alessandro Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. 20 DE SETEMBRO's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Gierlach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Yuri Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 20 DE SETEMBRO's protests and gave Yuri Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. Yuri Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Luiz Guilherme Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucjan Gierlach made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Luiz Guilherme Cosme sent off a good shot on target. Alessandro Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanislaw Ochabski kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Wágner Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wasyl Dubiel's late challenge caught a 20 DE SETEMBRO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wasyl Dubiel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, Galaxy Team U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasyl Dubiel to maneuver through the defense. 20 DE SETEMBRO's Walmyr Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Lichucki in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alessandro Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucjan Gierlach was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Team U18's Jacek Witek got a free kick in the 44th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Galaxy Team U18's Fryderyk Wolicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmyr Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakub Siedlecki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Galaxy Team U18 got a freekick which was hit by Robert Przybyciel. 58 minutes into the match, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Alessandro Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucjan Gierlach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of 20 DE SETEMBRO booed when Galaxy Team U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Fujara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Luís Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucjan Gierlach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Neiva in the 64th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Jakub Siedlecki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Walmyr Borges, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Luís Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. 20 DE SETEMBRO's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 76 played minutes, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Clóvis Corrêa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucjan Gierlach came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 20 DE SETEMBRO reached it. Luís Neiva hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Fryderyk Wolicki kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Luiz Guilherme Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Gierlach having to interfere. Lucjan Gierlach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Galaxy Team U18's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
