Iosif Cutieru started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilber McDonald to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Curumalán AFC booed when Pegaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes, Curumalán AFC's Alan Velasco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uriel Orland came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Curumalán AFC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Cutieru in the 7th minute of play forced Curumalán AFC's goalkeeper Amado Ishmael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Santo Astrada in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pegaso's Jaime Nevada. After a rather tough play, Curumalán AFC's Santo Astrada got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Iosif Cutieru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Pegaso's Iosif Cutieru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Ishmael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curumalán AFC's goalkeeper Amado Ishmael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Uriel Orland managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Curumalán AFC's Alan Velasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 45th minute, Jarbas Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Pegaso:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Curumalán AFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 48 minutes, Curumalán AFC's Alan Velasco got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Uriel Orland. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alan Velasco to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alan Velasco in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uriel Orland saved Pegaso from getting behind. Pegaso's Fermin Deunoro was substituted for Iosif Cutieru. Amado Ishmael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fermin Deunoro in the 73rd minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Alan Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pegaso's Uriel Orland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Pegaso's Fermin Deunoro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. In the 90th match minute, Curumalán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Prejun to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Estefan came free, but Uriel Orland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Alan Velasco sped through Pegaso's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Uriel Orland. Curumalán AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pegaso for a fine match.
