Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) In the 9th minute, Marcial Rafel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. WINNING ELEVEN's Feliberto Ortle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Balesio in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de América's Ildefonso Balesio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliberto Ortle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Feliberto Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Rito in the 14th minute of play. Isidro Emenon's late challenge caught a WINNING ELEVEN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Emenon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Isidro Emenon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Ospetsu made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Adan Francho sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de América's Ildefonso Balesio got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of WINNING ELEVEN booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Erasto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes, WINNING ELEVEN's Marcial Rafel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adrian Ospetsu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in WINNING ELEVEN reached it. If Bernardo Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute Bernardo Ado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Marcial Rafel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WINNING ELEVEN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de América the free kick. After a rather tough play, WINNING ELEVEN's Marcial Rafel got a free kick in the 39th minute. Roque Etor kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Adrian Ospetsu made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Adan Francho sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Nereo Sanchez's late challenge caught a Estudiantes de América's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Sanchez helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Sanchez. Bernardo Ado struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Feliberto Ortle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de América. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Ado in the 55th minute of play forced WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Feliberto Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Balesio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Estudiantes de América's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 73rd minute, Ildefonso Balesio made a precise shot to the right of Feliberto Ortle. WINNING ELEVEN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 81 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Rito. Adrian Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Hechter in the 82nd minute of the match. If Melchor Evarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Ortle was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Eustacio Rito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eustacio Rito really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Feliberto Ortle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Balesio in the 89th minute of the match. When Bernardo Quiroga fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de América's protests and gave Bernardo Quiroga a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de América's Bernardo Quiroga got a free kick in the 90th minute. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when WINNING ELEVEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Abancens didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Estudiantes de América supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Estudiantes de América would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
